EXCELLENTBased on 618 reviewsVerifiedBernhard G7. June, 2024Well organised, enjoyable and informative Very well organised trip, very friendly and helpful staff everywhere. Reading other reviews I dreaded the long drive and was surprised to find this one of the most interesting aspects, seeing that variety of amazing landscapes and getting a feel for the distance. Camel ride, dessert camp and visits where all very enjoyable and informative. One of the highlights of our Morocco holiday.VerifiedMarvyn I7. THANKSVerifiedAgustin B3. June, 2024Go to the Merzouga desert it is 100% worth it The experience in general is totally incredible, the driver is always very attentive to all of us, the first night in the hotel was great, the desert is amazing, all the people involved, such as the people from the hotels or the Berbers of the desert, very friendly, you feel at home but I have I have to say that it is hard for so many hours on the bus.VerifiedSoad B30. May, 2024Unforgettable experience It was an amasing experience, beautiful small villages, people and Views. The food were good but the prices in the restaurants were very expensive, the experience in the desert of Merzouga was brillante, with camel, the guides were very helpful and nice to us. The camp and the tent, were well equipped, clean and confortable..VerifiedCurious0950665373528. Great experience and the perfect introduction to get an interesting intro to Morroco. Staff was amazing everywhereVerifiedRaegs27. May, 20244 day private desert tour We had a wonderful tour. Our driver, Lotfi, was professional and drove safely. The van is comfortable with AC. There are beautiful areas of landscape and scenery with lots of breaks during the long drive. There are many things to see and do enroute to the desert. I will say the drive is very long. We did a 4 day private tour so stopped half way on the way to the desert but were on the road for 9 hours both days, including stops. Be prepared for lots of driving. The organizers at I Go Morocco are helpful and responsive and I would recommend this company for your trip to the desert. Here is some other general info: The desert camp, Palais du Dunes: get to camp around dark, dinner at 9:20, drumming show until around 11, wake up at 5 and leave. The point of this is to see the sunrise enroute. You do not get coffee or breakfast until you get back to the main hotel, about an hour on camel. Bring cash to the camp (luxury camp) if you need water as it is not included. Most riads outside the big cities do not serve alcohol. Be prepared for about a 10-11 hour drive back (with a few breaks) in 1 day, or you can split it up. The desert is beautiful, unique and worth seeing. The camels are friendly and well taken care of.Verifiedmarta b16. May, 2024Tiring but totally fun trip Really fun and memorable experience. The trip was long and tiring, but it's all worth it. If you can try to align your schedule with the moon phase, the stars in the sky when there's no moon are so magical.VerifiedПолина15. May, 2024Liked! Loved it! The trip was perfect, we saw everything we wanted, stopped for photos along the way and generally went according to our plan. It was a private tour for four in a comfortable car with a driver. The first night there was a good hotel with dinner and breakfast, and on the second night there was a camp in the desert, which is what everything was started for. The driver spoke English, was pleasant, and drives well. Wait for us if necessary. Sometimes he informed us that we had a certain amount of time, otherwise we wouldn’t make it in time. It was convenient. We had a private 3-days tour for 4 persons. It was a good experience as we had stops and visited places we liked. The accommodation at the hotel was comfortable and good. The Merzouga camp was nice, too. I would like to thank our driver Carim for great service!VerifiedSuman G11. May, 2024Top notch service! The service provided by I GO MOROCCO was flawless. They were always on time, communication was easy, and everything ran smoothly. Highly recommended!VerifiedElena Vega8. May, 2024Unforgetable experience!!! The whole trip was amazing. The views alone from the bus on the way to the desert are worth it. The driver made us feel very comfortable and safe and was super attentive to the entire group. The truth is that all the guides were like that, we felt very cared for by everyone. They stop you at places to visit them and you are accompanied at all times. For lunch, dinner, etc. they take you to specific places but they are all very good and they give you a price. The truth is that apart from the tourist sites where they stop you, you see a lot of landscapes and towns from the bus and it is amazing, we couldn't stop looking out the window... the outward journey was super enjoyable and we didn't have internet on mobile. The truth is that we didn't need it at all because at all times you go in a group and you feel super protected, and everywhere you stop there is Wi-Fi. Riding the camel is a bit tiring. Definitely a super cool experience but knowing it we would have booked a quad to return in the morning and thus have tried both experiences. The desert camp is nothing special but it has everything you need. We took the basic private tent but I think that if you take the luxury one you have wifi and other amenities. The truth is that once you are there it doesn't matter to you because it is only to sleep for a few hours and it doesn't matter. They give you dinner and then there is a show and the guys who work there are super close. Watching the sunset and sunrise in the desert is AMAZING. In the morning when you return from the camp they give you breakfast at the hotel where you leave your things before entering the desert. The trip is very tiring, especially the return trip because you spend many hours on the bus, but it is totally worth it. If you are going to spend more days in Morocco, I recommend doing it at the beginning of the trip and then leaving it more relaxing for the last few days, that's what we did and thank goodness because we ended up exhausted. It is an incredible experience 100% recommended with IGOMOROCCO!
